Cancellations of your advanced payment:
At WILLOW SURF CENTER, we strive to provide excellent lessons and customer service. However, we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise that may require cancellation or refund of lessons. Please read a brief description of our refund and cancellation policy below.

• No wind - No problem!*

The wind and weather conditions are not always predictable. If we are unlucky with the wind and unable to run your lesson, we’ll arrange a new date, or refund the full amount outstanding. This does not count for rentals.

• COVID 19, Force Majeure or similar
If there are unforeseen travel restrictions, other private reasons or events of force majeure, you will receive a full refund immediately. No ifs and buts...

• Cancellations

If you need to cancel your kiteboarding lesson, wingfoiling lesson or rental, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled lesson or rental. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled lesson or rental, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson or rental fee.

Where is WILLOW SURF CENTER located?

We are located at a spot on the south west coast of Mauritius called, Le Morne at a spot called the Kite lagoon. We operate from a big red trailer about half way down the beach towards the mountain. You cant miss us!

Will my lesson be rescheduled if theres no wind?

Yes, your lesson will be automatically be rescheduled to the next possible availability. Otherwise you can reschedule your next lesson once logging into the customer booking portal.

Can I cancel or reschedule my lesson?

Yes, you will be refunded the outstanding amount of remaining lessons. If you decide to cancel as you are unable to attend the lesson, there will be a charge on the refund. It’s important to see our policy before booking, and to give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

What is included in the cost of my lesson/rental?

Lesson: The cost of your kiteboarding lesson will include kite or wingfoil equipment for your lesson, your instructor, wetsuit, helmet and booties.
Rental: The cost of your wingfoil/kiteboarding rental will include a full kite or wingfoil set up.
I.e: Wing, Board, Foil
I.e: Kite, Board, bar

What should I bring to my lesson/rental?

You should bring appropriate clothing, such as a boardshorts/swimshorts or bathing suit. If you have your own wetsuit, you are welcome to use it. Otherwise for lessons, we will provide wetsuits. Additionally, you should bring sunscreen, a towel, and any personal items you may need.

What is covered in my Accidental Rental Protection?

The accidental protection covers any accidental damages up to 350€.

Wing & Kite equipment accidental protection DOES NOT COVER negligence or damage due to theft, loss or due to collision with other riders.*
There will be no accidental protection when kitesurfing or wing-foiling in waves.*
Wingfoil Boards and Kitesurf boards are not covered by accidental protection*

What are your operating hours for rentals?

We are opened from 9am-5pm everyday of the week. During these hours you are able to maximise your time on the water and make the most of your rental.

Can I change my Wingfoil rental to a Kitesurf rental? (Vice versa)

Yes, we do use a pool system where you can exchange equipment back and forth subject to availability.
